Can You Sharpen a Serrated Knife? Yes.
Serrated knives can be sharpened with a tapered ceramic rod and patience.

How To
- 1Identify the beveled side (where scallops are ground).
- 2Insert tapered rod into each scallop at the existing bevel angle.
- 3Give each scallop 3–5 light strokes.
- 4Remove the burr on the flat side with a fine flat stone.
- 5Test on bread.
When to Replace Instead
- 1Tips between scallops are worn completely flat.
- 2Blade has been bent or damaged.
- 3Very cheap serrated knives — your time is worth more.
